Flood Water Can Lead to Microbial Growth

This garage was flooded due to Hurrican Harvey in Houston, TX.  In the before picture you can see microbial growth around the water line.   This is something that can happen when water damage occurs and isn't remediated quickly enough.  When our crews were able to get to this home in Houston they were able to cut the affected walls above where the visable growth on the walls.  This allows the area behind and around to be sprayed with anti-microbial and stop any further growth and damage to occur.  Not only were our crews able to dry the area, they were also able to create a fresh foundation for the homeowner to build upon.
